Exercising Doesn’t Have To Cost You A Thing

Let’s be honest for a moment. When most people think about exercising, the kind that gets you the results you are so desperately looking for and the ones that are going to stick, we don’t think of this as simple. Most people imagine these kinds of workout routines to be very expensive. Either you’re going to need a trainer or some fancy equipment, right? Wrong. In reality, you can get amazing results and you don’t need anything other than your body. Why go out and spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars on equipment that you may not even use regularly?

We think everyone should see what they can accomplish on their own before spending their hard earned cash on something that probably isn’t necessary. Of course, everyone is difference. Even if you think you can’t possibly reach your goals alone, hear us out. You may just learn a few things that change your mind.

Walk or Jog

It doesn’t matter where you live or how busy your schedule is. Everyone (even you!) can squeeze in a short walk here and there or even a jog. If you are bored a lot during your lunch breaks and end up with additional time that you don’t know what to do with, this is a perfect time to get out, get some sun and get your blood pumping. Or, if you have the day off and you are feeling like you need that afternoon nap, give a little exercise a try first. Most of the time, you are going to find that it was the boost you needed to make it through the rest of your day.

Exercise Videos

If you are one of those people who needs a bit more motivation in order to get up and moving, then you may want to find exercise videos. You do not need to necessarily go out and buy some because there are many ways to get them completely free. Many people upload workout videos on YouTube, and your library probably has a ton of videos for you to choose from. There are even exercise specials on TV regularly that may be something you enjoy (and since they are live, you’ll feel obligated to set a time for your workout).

Dance

Now, a lot of people are intimidated by the word ‘dance’ but you shouldn’t be. You do not need to be good at dancing in order to get a great workout and you definitely don’t have to let anyone see you. You can dance in the comfort of your own home. If you have an Xbox Kinect, there are games you can purchase that are perfect for beginners (although you definitely do not have to).

Get Something Done Around the House

If you aren’t really sure where to begin when it comes to working out, then you may want to start by cleaning up your house. You can definitely work up a sweat even when doing the smallest of tasks. When you’re ready, you may want to take on that bathroom rebuild project you’ve been dying to get out of the way and all that yard work that you’ve been putting off. Sometimes all it takes is getting started. Oftentimes, your body craves the great feeling it gets from working out and you’ll get on a role; almost as if you’re addicted. This is hard to see in the beginning when exercising can feel like pulling teeth but you’ll get there.

Babysit

If you aren’t sure what to do with yourself; maybe you should tackle a babysitting job. Children have a wonderful way of not only keeping you busy and entertained but giving you a great workout. Whether you’re playing with them or chasing them around, you’ll definitely keep busy.

Have Sex

Sex is probably one of the most enjoyable and easy activities. The best workout in life are the ones that you don’t feel as though you’re exercising (at least not until after you’re done and your muscles are screaming at you). What’s better than snuggling up with the one you love and having a little fun? This is always a great place to start. Plus, the more you work out in general, the more things you’ll be able to do in the bedroom and no one is going to be complaining there!

No More Excuses

If money was previously your excuse for not being able to get the workouts you need, it’s time to put those days behind you. Time also isn’t an excuse anymore. In all honesty, putting in a mere 5 minutes here and there is going to benefit your body so much more than doing absolutely nothing. Every little bit counts so start today. In fact, start right now. Get those endorphins going and the stresses of life are going to seem to melt away.
